§ 8.12.130. Solid waste, recycling, and compostables collection rates to be set by city-authorized provider of the service.

The city council may, by resolution or an approved contract with any contractor, place a limit on the rates, fees and charges for garbage, recycling and green waste collection. No contractor shall impose any fee that is greater than the maximum permitted by the city council, unless otherwise authorized in this chapter.
