§ 1.08.060. Civil penalty for code violations.

A.

Any person who violates or fails to comply with any provision of this code or ordinance of the city is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed one thousand dollars for each day, or part thereof, such failure or failure to comply occurs;

B.

The city attorney is authorized to bring a civil action in any court of competent jurisdiction to recover such civil penalties.
